Introducing "Per Run" Pricing

Simple. Scalable. Consumption-based.

  • MORE USE = LOWER PRICE

  • AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED

  • NO CONTRACT

  • NO LOCK-IN

Our pricing philosophy is, well, our customers'.  Hundreds of companies have told us what is important to them about the cost of their development environments, and we listened.  After including requirements such as simplicity, scalability, and consumption, we delivered a pricing model based solely on the number of workflows you "Run" per month. And then we added automatic discounts for volume: start at .99c, and the more you use, the less each Run costs.

Monthly and Annual Plans include simplified billing within a pre-paid "Band" of your choice. Get up to the next Band, free!

What is a Run?

A Run is counted each time a workflow Composition is completed. Note that we count the completion, and not the initial execution -- in other words, if you cancel a Composition, it is not counted and you do not pay for it.

Also, a Run can include multiple Compositions and count as one single Run: if you use the Fork and Join tasks, multiple Compositions will be chained together, but only counted as a single Run.

What is a Composition?

A Maestro Composition is a collection of tasks that you define together to orchestrate your SDLC process. Compositions can be (long) end-to-end processes that encompass all the tasks from source code to deployment Or, they can be separated apart into (short) groups of tasks that fit into each team's area of work, such as development, testing, release management, and operations. The price you pay to Run Maestro is not affected by the way you choose to organize your Compositions.

Are there any overage charges?

No. There are no overage charges with the Maestro service. Whether on-premise or SaaS, the Per-Run price scales up and down with your usage, and you only pay for what you use.

Do I have to buy services?

No. There are no required services to buy with the Maestro service. MaestroDev offers DevOps and best practices consulting, on request.

How does Per-Run pricing work?

Per-Run pricing is billed on a monthly basis for the total number of Runs you used that month. When you start using Maestro, each Run is charged at .99c. As your total number of Runs for the month grows, the price automatically drops by .5c increments. Your monthly bill is automatically set to the lowest price, counted by the total number of Runs used that month.

How do Monthly & Annual discounts work?

Monthly & Annual Plans not only provide additional support benefits, but also simplify billing by introducing Run volume "Bands" that group your usage into larger increments, providing more Runs for the same price.

First, you select a monthly "Band" that reflects the usage level you expect will be normal. Let's say that is $1,000 per month for your account; with a Monthly or Annual Plan we allow you to use up to the next Band, or $2,000 worth of Runs, at no additional charge.

How does the Free Trial work?

Your trail account includes the fully functional Maestro service, on your own private instance, so that you know what you will get when you become a Maestro customer.

The only limitation of this Plan is to a single worker-agent that runs your workflows. The other Plans include unlimited, dynamically allocated worker-agents that scale up and down with the work load.

Your trail account can be converted to a paid Plan at any time, simply by registering a credit card with us.
